When you call 770.929.8500 and a "friendly and distinctively southern female voice" greets you with Good morning, ITEX Georgia, chances are you'll be speaking with Elaine Scott.
Elaine is a partner in the ITEX Georgia operation and also the wife of Frank Scott, the other half of this equation. Elaine has been firmly entrenched in the barter business since 1992. She and her better half have been married for almost 45 years. She married her high school sweetheart and they have on son, Jeff.
Elaine is the glue that hold the Scott's two ITEX operations together. They also have another office located in Savannah, Georgia that serves the Savannah - Hilton Head communities. This operation was acquired in 1996. Juggling the operation of the two offices is one of Elaine's strong suits.
Elaine and Frank obtained the BXI territorial rights for a good portion of Georgia in 1992. With the July 2005 purchase of BXI by the ITEX organization, Elaine has worked hard to transition their BX accounts into the ITEX Nation. She sincerely is looking forward to strong growth within their offices thanks to the acquisition.
Elaine enjoys traveling (especially when a casino can be located), prowling stores looking for bargains, searching for antiques, playing with their two Schitzu's, Sparky and Sugar Babe and auctions.
Elaine is a native of Alabama. She was raised and educated in the Birmingham area. She and her husband of three years and their six month old son moved to Atlanta in 1963. They have been a part of the Conyers community since 1997.

Frank Scott loves the barter business! Since first being introduced to barter in the mid 80's he says he has been amazed at the successes and failures he has observed over the past 20 plus years.
Today's ITEX management team has a solid plan to move both the old and new ITEX Brokers forward. It's good to be working with a management team that seems to always be available to you and your office staff.
Frank Scott has 15 years experience in the barter industry. In 1992, he and his wife were awarded a large portion of Georgia to develop for BXI. Frank believes that his entire adult working career was spent in the preparation phase of getting into trade. With a background in sports, the hotel industry and advertising and also the auction business, he felt he was well prepared for getting into organized barter in 1992.
That friendly southern female voice you'll hear when calling their Conyers office belongs to his wife Elaine. They have been full partners in life and business for some 45 years. They spend endless hours together and enjoy each others company and have lots of common interests.
Sports! If you can bounce it, throw it, hit it or catch it, Frank's gonna watch it. He's also a licensed auctioneer and spends lots of time (and money) at auctions, buying items he deems suitable for trade...at fair prices.
